Orchard Street brings Roxy Ball Room to The Cornerhouse, Nottingham, with 21,000 sq ft letting

- Nottingham’s premier leisure destination will be home to Roxy’s largest venue in the UK -

Orchard Street Investment Management (‘Orchard Street’), the specialist commercial property investment manager, has signed a c.21,000 sq ft letting with leisure and entertainment specialist Roxy Ball Room (“Roxy”) at The Cornerhouse, Nottingham’s 200,000 sq ft premier leisure destination. The company has agreed to a twenty-year lease across the basement floor of the property, which will be home to Roxy’s second site in Nottingham, and its largest nationwide.

The venue, which opens its doors to the public on 11 June, will offer a range of leisure and gaming facilities, including tenpin and duckpin bowling, ping pong, shuffleboard, ice curling and a selection of karaoke rooms, in addition to a number of traditional arcade games.

The Cornerhouse is the only purpose-built leisure scheme in Nottingham; anchored by a 14-screen Cineworld, it offers 13 restaurants/bars, a nightclub, indoor adventure golf and a casino. Key food and beverage tenants include Nando’s, Wagamama and TGI Fridays, while Roxy will enhance the existing nightlife offerings provided by Revolution, Slug and Lettuce and Genting Casinos, amongst others.

Strategically located in Nottingham’s city centre, the asset benefits from nearby universities, shopping facilities at Victoria Centre and local theatres, attracted by The Cornerhouse’s offering which provides both day and night time leisure activities.
