WELL Gold certified and Cycle Score Platinum

Orchard Street Investment Management acquired Bauhaus in 2018, and subsequently instructed a full refurbishment of the building which was entirely focused around optimising the occupier experience – including ensuring the most robust digital infrastructure possible. Digital connectivity accreditation body WiredScore awarded Bauhaus its ‘Platinum’ certification as a result of this exercise. Since its relaunch, Bauhaus provides a full tenant concierge service, a flexible ground-floor co-working space encouraging collaboration, an outdoor roof terrace incorporating a covered exercise area and spaces for informal meetings or client entertaining, high quality cycle parking, showering and drying room facilities, and basement parking spaces which include electric vehicle charging points. Bauhaus has achieved a Platinum Cycle Score rating in recognition of its excellent cycling facilities that support physical activity and low carbon travel.

The Bauhaus’ WELL Gold Core + Shell certification in December 2020 makes it the only refurbished building in the UK to have received the accreditation, following its comprehensive repositioning by Orchard Street in 2019.
