Orchard Street is pleased to announce the appointments of Malcolm Frodsham as Head of Research and Annika Ormerod as Operations Manager, strengthening the firm's investment research and operational capabilities as it continues to develop its evidence-based approach to investment strategy.
Malcolm brings more than 30 years of experience in UK commercial real estate research, investment strategy and market analysis. He has held senior positions across the industry, including Research Director at IPD and Head of Research & Strategy at Legal & General Property, before founding Real Estate Strategies, where he continues to provide research, investment strategy, market analysis and modelling to institutional investors and industry organisations.
In his new role at Orchard Street, Malcolm will lead and develop the firm's research capability, enhancing the House View, supporting investment strategy and providing thought leadership for clients. A key priority will be to further develop the firm’s investment framework, with an increased emphasis on consistent market research, data analysis and economic insight.
Malcolm will work closely with Orchard Street's investment teams to ensure research is fully integrated into investment decision making, while helping communicate the firm's market outlook and strategic thinking to clients.

Orchard Street has also appointed Annika Ormerod as Operations Manager, strengthening the firm's operational capability and supporting the continued development of its processes and controls.
Annika joins Orchard Street from KPMG, where she worked in Deal Advisory – Transaction Services, specialising in real estate. She is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with experience in financial due diligence.
In her new role, Annika will work across the business to improve operational processes, fund and investor operations, and support the effective use of technology and automation.
