The lease on 3,593 sq ft of retail space, over ground and first floors, was completed on behalf of St James’s Place Wealth Management.
This latest letting follows the recent agreement with Mitchells and Butler to open a combined Toby Carvery and Harvester restaurant, adding to the exisiting leisure offer that includes a 1,000 seat Apollo cinema, Costa, Pizza Express and Frankie & Benny’s.
Having opened in April 2010, St Catherine’s Walk is expected to welcome over 7 million visitors in its second full year of operation. This success has attracted a range of other well known brands like Debenhams, Next, H&M, River Island, New Look and Top Shop.
Richard Walters of Orchard Street Investment Management LLP, commented:
"Vodafone’s decision to relocate to St Catherine’s Walk reflects both the attractive line up of retail and leisure tentants as well as the centre’s strong footfall figures which peaked at over 200,000 in the week preceding Christmas. We are confident that, with only three units remaining available, further lettings will follow shortly."
DTZ in London and I Metcalfe & Co in Cardiff advised Orchard Street while Colliers CRE represented Vodafone.
