Celebrating Our Summer Secondees: Dhruv, Alexandria, and Zahine
We recently had the pleasure of hosting Dhruv Patel, Alexandria Hambi, and Zahine Tasnim for a two-week secondment, and it's fair to say they made the most of every minute.
Over the course of their placement, they got a hands-on look at what it means to work across real estate finance, data and operations, and occupier sustainability. Rather than simply observing from the sidelines, they were embedded directly in live workstreams, underwriting investment opportunities, supporting due diligence on active acquisitions, and getting into the technical weeds of the business.
On the data side, they used Python to transform and clean datasets that fed directly into investment analysis, a task that gave them real exposure to how quantitative rigor underpins decision-making in real estate finance. On the sustainability front, they contributed to developing an occupier sustainability reference, practical work that will go on to support how the business engages with occupiers on environmental performance.
It's this kind of breadth, spanning finance, data, and sustainability, that made the secondment such a valuable experience, both for Dhruv, Alexandria, and Zahine, and for the teams they worked alongside.
